Made a trip down to
Gain City Marina Square with a long list of items to see and enquire yesterday.
- Television
- Front Load washer/dryer
- Fridge
- Stove
- Air-condition
- Oven
There are soooo many to choose from and it's giving me a huge headache as I can't differentiate which will be the better choice for us to get.
Luckily, the sales person Andy, gave me a lot of useful information on the products that I am keen to know more about.
Still, it's not easy to choose within a wide range of "everything-seems-good" products.
Just take air-condition for example.
We need inverter air-condition, 4 Ticks Distinction Energy Saving Labels
We have Mitsubushi $2869, Panasonic $2799, Toshiba (the only JAPAN made) $2989, Sharp $2679 and Daikin $2940 to choose from.
Mitsubushi, Panasonic (new sleek model.. just came in 3-4 months ago) and Daikin is the top 3 choices to me.
And it isn't easy to choose between the 3. Grrr..
For television.. we should get the LED as it's more energy saving and it doesn't produce too much heat when you are sitting in front of one large television.
Should I spend $1,999 (usual price $3,999) for a 40-inch Samsung Series 7 3D LED TV?
Or just get a regular $1,299 LG 42-inch Full HD LED TV?
If I were to get the one with 3D, the games I play on PS3 (yes, I need to buy that too.. for the Guitar Heroes set that is collecting dust at one corner of the house) will look great!
On top of that, I will need a sound bar too.
Should I get one with a integrated blu ray player from Samsung which will set me back at $1329, or get them separated which will take up more space but is cheaper?
As for stove.. should I get the cheaper and prettier glass stove or the practical stainless steel and cost double one?
Front Loader washer/dryer - LG or Samsung? Both cost $1,000+ too..
It seems that Andy been promoting Samsung to me. :P
Hey, where is all the Japanese products?
