Zombies & Wedding photos

I love Left4Dead. Because exterminating zombies is my forte. =D

Saw this online and I feel that the idea is very fresh. Wonder which couple will do this for their wedding theme. Will you?

Theme for our ROM cake

A few months ago, I am into Gloomy Bear.

I like the story of how a little boy diligently took care of young, cute and cuddly abandoned Gloomy Bear and it became wild when it grows up because bear do not become attached to people. Gloomy attacks the little boy even though he is the owner. Poor little boy is often scratched or bitten by Gloomy. But he still love it dearly.

So for our theme, we decided to use the baby pink and blue Gloomy Bears which we "caught" in Singapore.

Something different from the usual Precious Moments figurines that the majority of the couples use for as their cake topper.

RAWRRRRRRR...

The Groom & Bride.

So cute can~ I love it to bits!

Spent quite a bit to catch them both at a UFO catcher shop at United Square.

The cake.

Very well done right? :)

Not 100% resemblance because Cheryl Shuen made their terrifying teeth into charming smile.

The end product.

120 cupcakes filled the 5 tier stand full to it's brim.

The cake was awesome~~!! But the icing on the cupcakes were too sweet for many.

Overall everyone LOVE the display of the cupcakes + cake.

Cherylshuen for our ROM cake

Hubby & I had chosen Cherylshuen to design & create our ROM cake.

Deposit of $400 has been made.

The cake + cupcakes total up to $825. Will be sponsored by Charles' Mom & Dad. Love them lots!!

Indeed the fondant cake + cupcakes are very expensive but we do hoped everyone will love the cake on that special day :)

Hubby & I love the taste of the cupcakes and how it delight our taste buds. The money spent will be all worth it!

A trip down to Cherylshuen Wedding Concept

Friday was used to source for a prefect ROM cake. Workmanship must be good and the cake must taste yummy!!

Our first stop was to Joo Chiat. After lunch there, we headed to a cake shop nearby that Diana (a helpful reader) recommended.

Cherylshuen Wedding Concept.

The displays at the shop was gorgeous and hubby said that her workmanship is really top-notched.

It was Friday afternoon around 2pm..

In just 5 mins when we were there, 2 calls came in to enquire about the cost of the cake.. She repeated that the charges can be viewed on the website.. Then she repeated the same to us..

I kinda pity her. I think she should hire someone to answer the calls for her or she should have some call machine to help her, "Press 1 for booking. Press 2 for cake charges. Press 3 ....."

Anyway, we booked a slot with her on Tuesday. And we bought 2 mini cakecups to try - S$6.

Lunch @ Joo Chiat
Teochew Porridge
VERY NICE CAN!!

Cranberry mini cupcake from Cherylshuen.

VERY NICE CAN~

Fruity & buttery~ Yummy~

The chocolate one is very yummy too!! Melts in your mouth kind.. Awwwww.....

After Cherylshuen, we headed to 3 more cake shops that make fondant cakes - one at East side, one near Newton Hawker and lastly Riverside

Even though cheaper, hubby felt that Cherylshuen is still THE ONE for us. :)

Since we are at Riverside, we dined at Wine Connection Deli & Bistro. Dinning outdoors during evening in Singapore is a killer! We were both sticky and uncomfortable that we didn't enjoy our dinner. I really need air-con in Singapore manz..

After dinner, we headed to my bridal boutique to confirm the ROM dress that I will be wearing on that day. :)

Need to add a can-can to make the skirt look fluffy on me because I'm just too skinny :P

Mock Makeup

Can't wait to return to Singapore. Will be going to the bridal boutique with Dearie to do a mock makeup before the actual ROM day.

Can't wait.. Hoped that the in-house makeup artist doesn't disappoint.

And there's a new hair treatment in town call the Brazilian Blowout.

Feel like trying it out at Jeric hair salon in ION. Will cost me $380 + shampoo & conditioner + haircut = $500? And you will have to do it every 3 months.

Very tempting leh..

Found this image randomly on Google

Does the above cake looks good? Wanna have something like that for my ROM :)

First time to Japan of A380

I'm pretty excited for my inaugural A380 flight to Narita. Don't know what to expect from this flight.

As far as I am concern, shopping in Japan is awesome~ Over there I will be spoilt with choices. Too many cutesy things to buy!

❤ ❤ ❤

Have been looking around for unique wedding cake toppers. Wonder if I should order from http://www.unusually.com.sg/shop/  because it's really expensive~! Almost $300.

But it's personalized and I get to keep it after using as a cake topper. How how?
