A sweet surprise from Hubby

After a long & torturing 12 hr flight from Frankfurt to Singapore (fyi, I didn't sleep a wink during the allocated rest.. maybe I slept too much prior to the flight), I just can't wait to take the cab straight home after touching down into Singapore. I need my bed. Sleep. Period.

Guess what..

Hubby, who was far far away in Egypt at that time, left something sweet on the bed for me.

A love note. A velvet red laptop cushion cover for my MacBook Air. On top of that he got me a voucher to claim at G-mask.

I didn't want to G-mask my laptop because I personally felt that the decal is waaaaaaay over-priced. Even though Hubby don't mind the day-light robbery price (around SGD 89), I was totally against it. Now, Hubby got me the voucher that he got on Deal.com.sg at 79% off the retail price, I really don't mind. In fact, I was damn thrilled.. Because the very last time that I had G-mask my apple product was during poly.

Hubby gift & note to me. Full of love!

Hubby saw the below decal somewhere in the cyber space and wanna get me that. He knows I am into Fairy Tales. *smiles*

Nerdy Snow White holding an Apple

The color version.

Quite cute yeah?

However G-mask doesn't carry such decals.. So I had to settle for others. And a Über colorful decal full of pokemon look-a-like characters attracted me.

Hubby said that from a far, my laptop looks kinda cute, but if u look carefully, you will feel that my laptop gives a kind of "don't touch or I will bite" vibe. Hahaha..

London with BFF ❤

So happy to be in London. This time in London is really special, as I have my BFF Glady with me.

Changed to do this flight with her. :) An infamous Top 10 on flight, and I was the most senior junior crew on flight. Very scary ok? We have to make sure that everything we do is tip top and be on our toes at all times. But glad that I was safe from any zapping SIN-LHR and LHR-SIN. Phew~!

Anyway, I had a blast with Glady in London. So much to do, so little time.

Glady had wanted to watch Lion King during this trip. But tickets were all sold out for the 2 weekdays we were there. Too bad.. Next time then. :)

Dinner at Mermaid's Tail.

Location: 7 Leicester Square
Yummy!!

To commute around London, we took tubes.

Spotted: A man in his 50s on a red trunk, 150m away from us. I kinda like this shot.

Glady like this out-of-focus shot of us.

Glady has been to London for X times. But she had not seen the London Eye and Big Ben.

She has been bugging me to do so.. Haaa...

Here we are.

Deja Vu.

Was here with my batchgirls on two occasions. First time was with Sheryl and Twinkle, second was with Carrie. :)

Glady & Kimmie with London Eye at the background.

Big Ben - not open for overseas tourists. Boohoo~

Cold & windy.. is this Summer?

Oxford Street.

Special occasion?

Ripley's Believe It or Not! London

Attraction at Piccadilly Circles.

Open daily: 10am-12midnight

Ticket price: £25.95

And if you book the tickets online, you will get a 20% discount

You will be done in 2 hours. So you should arrange your time to come here after all the retail shops are closed. Afterall, shopping time in London is really precious~!

Oh ya, the Mirror Maze.. It's a crap and a waste of time. :P

The "American Icon" Mini-Cooper features over one million Swarvoski crystals!

I miss New York..

And New York's Shake Shack Burger~ Drools...

I love brown~

Did ya noticed my brown shoes?

I bought it from Japan recently for only 1,500 yen at Shibuya 109. Love it to bits!

Robert Wadlow is the tallest man ever known to exist. He grew to be over 8'11" tall.

The Beatles

The Lads from Liverpool have never looked better than when formed from chewing gum by sculptor Enrique Ramos.

Beware! The following photos might make you nausea.

Real human Shrunken Head!!

This piece is considered the finest shrunken head specimen in the world!

Jivaro
Shrunken Head

Of all the tribes in the world, only the Jivaro of the Andes practice "tsantsa", the ancient art of shrinking human heads. Their extreme rarity makes these relics the crown jewels of the Ripley collection. This particular piece, adorned with earrings made from beetle wings, is considered the finest shrunken head specimen in the world!

Shrunken Head with Toucan Feathers

The heads of enemies are prized as war trophies. Shrinking one was believed to enslave the enemy's spirit. This head is adorned with Toucan feather earrings and a lip ornament.

Glady felt sick in the stomach after seeing the Shrunken Head that she had no appetite to eat afterwards. :P

Portrait of JFK.

If you look close enough, it is rather creepy..

... Butterflies...

Look Ma. No Legs!!

I like this..

So colorful~

Tubes of gum balls.. Pretty~!!

Pret A Manger

now knows as ★PRET★

One of my favourite sandwich shop..

Everytime I am in New York, I will try to buy the salad or sushi there. Uber nice can~!!

Didn't know that ★PRET★ was originated from London. Interesting.

However, the sushi in London not so nice.. >_<

p/s Pret A Manger is a french word.. So it has an unique way of pronouncing it.

Glady had been raving to me about the hot from the oven butter scones. So off we went for breakfast at Muffin Man on our checkout day. :)

Butter scones.

VERY NICE!!

Spotted: Cute toddle in polka dot top.

Toddler refused to be seated in the pram. Granny had a tough time pacifying her.

Kimmie took out her camera and asked the toddler to look at the camera. Immediately, the toddler's anger quelled, and she smiled.

Smiling toddler, happy granny. A great shot for Kimmie.

Win-win situation.

There is an episode in 超省时生活 (Japanese show) on how to quell children's anger with camera phone. It works!

Kimmie's iPhone wallpaper at the moment.

Looking at this photo makes me smile. :)

Kimmie bought a Hammie

Sorry for the lack of post this month.

For the past 2 weeks, my life was kinda turned upside down. To cheer myself up and to make myself wanting to come back to Singapore, I decided to get myself a hamster, a rather expensive and pretty hamster. :)

My pied roborovski Hammie.

Looking at it makes me feel peace and happy :)

This breed was selling at $98 each early last year. Scary!

I love Hammie cus the patch on his left is what makes him unique and handsome.

close up~ love it to bits!

New York x Shake Shack Burger

Hello people,

I'm in New York!

I'm soooo happy to be here in Spring! Since I arrived on Good Friday, it was Soooooo damn crowded here!

After hearing soooo many raves about Shake Shack Burger, I finally get to eat it!! It was HEAVEN~!!

Please go try it if you are in New York ok? You will not regret it! Seriously.

Got my Bath & Body Works 3-wick scented candles. So happy! Spring = flowers~

And I love the scent of flowers that I got one that smells like one, Flower Shop. The delightful scent of fresh-cut spring flowers - sweet lilac, pink freesia and hyacinth layered with cooling greens. Uber nice can~

As usual, my 5 for USD25 undies from Amercian Eagles. :) :) Amercian Eagles in Time Square is HUGE. I love the billboard on the whole of the building. I am always in awe standing at the opposite side of the road looking at the uber cool advertisements.

After staying awake for like 20 hours. It's time to head back to my hotel. Need to rest my sore feet after working hard on board and those awesome retail therapy.

Can't wait for tomorrow.

Stardust~ I'm coming for you.

Kimmie ❤ Shake Shack Buger!

Notice the Papa in my background? I bet he was saying in his head, "Manz.. this is awwwwwwwwwwwwesome!!"

You can find it near the Time Square

Theater District
691 8th Avenue, Southwest Corner of 8th Avenue & 44th Street

11am-Midnight

The BURGER is awesome! U need to try it manz!!

The milk shake is heavenly too!

Fries was alright, but the cheese was great!

After lunch, I headed to Toy R Us to check out the latest toy in town.

And I saw this~

Lalaloopsy

So damn cute right??

I'm not sure if this is new.. But I was enticed by her baby pink hair and the buttons on her eyes.

And she has a cute PINK pet too.

Buttontails.

What a cute name. ❤

Even the handle of the box is sooooo cute can.

Heart button.

Maybe they were inspired by Coraline?

Back in Seoul - Shopping & Food heaven

Can't wait to head to Seoul~

Wanna get my hands on the cute and fancy Korean stationeries badly!

Look out of the aircraft window and a breath taking view greets you.

Where are we over now?

We are flying over the Pacific Ocean. Specifically, the Sea of Okhotsk.

After touching down, we heading out to eat the Ginseng Chicken.

It warms me up and help to keep me awake for the late night shopping later at Dongdaemun.

Spotted this cute lil' dress at Doota, Dongdaemun.

Aww.. next time when I have kids, I will go there to buy those pretty dresses for my little darlings~

Dongdaemun is great! The shops there closes at 4am! Can you imagine how we ended the night at 1.30am (time flies when you have a great company) and the locals and tourists there are still happily shopping - on a weekday somemore.

Morning came early, LSS Shirley & I headed out to make some name tags.

Spotted.

Pre-made tags for Singapore Airlines crew.

Mr Park and his trusty sewing machine.

He sews the letters and logos within 1 minute. Awesome!

Mine~

I chose bright pink cabin trolley handle and Mr Park suggested me to emboss it in black.

~Kimmie~

He was so sweet to add on the pink heart for me :)

Determined to find my top-on-the-list items, we took a cab down to Ewha University's shopping belt.

Can't wait to use the stickers I bought there for my photos~~!

Found this adorable photo ablum. :)

Hello Kitty at Krispy Kreme and I bought one ~ Yummy~

My stash ~~ Love them lots!!

These are fabric stickers, A4 size.

Post it pads.

I like the girl with the speech bubble - "I'm shitting, please do not disturb." Wahaha.. :P

Finally~!

The rubber stamps that I have always wanted!

Cheap and pretty!!

Only 5,500 won, so I bought a set of 4.

And that oil-base ink pad - for printing on fabrics.

This flight ain't that bad at all.. because women do bond while shopping together :)

To ease my sore shoulders and achy feets from all the shopping, I soaked myself in the hot bath with the bath sand that Twinkle gave me some time ago. Missing her.. and missing all my girlfriends. Last but not least, my lovely hubby~ Chu~
