New York x Shake Shack Burger

Hello people,

I'm in New York!

I'm soooo happy to be here in Spring! Since I arrived on Good Friday, it was Soooooo damn crowded here!

After hearing soooo many raves about Shake Shack Burger, I finally get to eat it!! It was HEAVEN~!!

Please go try it if you are in New York ok? You will not regret it! Seriously.

Got my Bath & Body Works 3-wick scented candles. So happy! Spring = flowers~

And I love the scent of flowers that I got one that smells like one, Flower Shop. The delightful scent of fresh-cut spring flowers - sweet lilac, pink freesia and hyacinth layered with cooling greens. Uber nice can~

As usual, my 5 for USD25 undies from Amercian Eagles. :) :) Amercian Eagles in Time Square is HUGE. I love the billboard on the whole of the building. I am always in awe standing at the opposite side of the road looking at the uber cool advertisements.

After staying awake for like 20 hours. It's time to head back to my hotel. Need to rest my sore feet after working hard on board and those awesome retail therapy.

Can't wait for tomorrow.

Stardust~ I'm coming for you.

Kimmie ❤ Shake Shack Buger!

Notice the Papa in my background? I bet he was saying in his head, "Manz.. this is awwwwwwwwwwwwesome!!"

You can find it near the Time Square

Theater District
691 8th Avenue, Southwest Corner of 8th Avenue & 44th Street

11am-Midnight

The BURGER is awesome! U need to try it manz!!

The milk shake is heavenly too!

Fries was alright, but the cheese was great!

After lunch, I headed to Toy R Us to check out the latest toy in town.

And I saw this~

Lalaloopsy

So damn cute right??

I'm not sure if this is new.. But I was enticed by her baby pink hair and the buttons on her eyes.

And she has a cute PINK pet too.

Buttontails.

What a cute name. ❤

Even the handle of the box is sooooo cute can.

Heart button.

Maybe they were inspired by Coraline?

上海灯具城

So happy!

Managed to head out to the light market 上海灯具城 in Shanghai.

For the first time, I felt that my time there is very precious. Usually I would "hibernate", order room service, watch Chinese MTV, read my books and enjoy the awesome room in the Millenium hotel.

After arriving in Singapore, Hubby & I went to Balestier to choose the tiles for our living room, kitchen and toilet. :)

Seriously.. All the off-white, beige, white, etc tiles look the same to me :p can't tell the difference between the $2.20 psf and $4.80 psf!

Kinda excited about the house's toilet as we will be having a couple basin :)

Can't wait!

Universal Studio Singapore 2

Hubby & Kimmie's 2nd time to Universal Studio Singapore (USS). This time we bought Ada there, her birthday treat.

Our mission today: Get wet and play as much rides as possible in 5 hrs!

We got there at 1pm because I came back at around 7am from Copenhagen and slept for a few hours. So our time in USS is very precious. Since time is precious, we spent a BOMB on our tickets. Here's the breakdown.

Weekend tickets for adults: S$72 x 2 = S$144
Weekend tickets for child: S$52

Total: S$196
After 20% discount: S$156.80

Add on: Universal Express during Super Peak hours
no discount at all
S$68 x 3 = S$204

Total ticket price: S$360.80

FREAKING EXPENSIVE!!

That's not all.. we paid S$26 for the car park from 1pm to 9.30pm.

And the food we spent in USS. Fast food, drinks, snacks, etc S$100+

All in all, S$500!

Although many people will say that we shouldn't spend on the Universal Express and just Q like the rest, so we can save $200. But we felt that the Universal Express is well-spent! For example, the normal Q to a ride is 90mins, the Universal Express Q is only 1 min! If we were to pay 5 rides. 90mins x 5 rides = 7.5 hrs spent in the Q. With the Universal Express, the waiting time is maximum 30mins for 5 rides!

Too bad that the Universal Express can only be used once per ride. :(

From now till 27 May 2011, you may use your Master Credit Card to enjoy 20% off the 1 day ticket, even on weekends!

Oh ya.. and every Friday and Saturday at 9pm to 9.15pm there will be an incredible new pyrotechnics (fireworks) show - Lake Hollywood Spectacular.

We had a blast! And here are some of the photos~

Ada's first time to Universal Studio Singapore

We didn't dress up as we were prepared to get WET!

T-shirt and shorts. as little as possible.

Singapore is just too HOT and HUMID to dress up. :P

Look at me, already in a spaghetti top and shorts, and I am still perspire like mad!

First stop: Mel's drive in for lunch

After the burgers, chili fries and root beer float, we are ready for our rides!!

Water World show

We deliberately took the wet seats to get wet!! Woohoo~~!!

Some smart parents dressed their kids in wet suits. And they were seated in the front row, drenched!

Didn't get wet at the Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure at our first attempt.. so after all the rides in USS, we went again in the evening. And we got drenched!!! Hahaha.. Even our underwear were soaked!!

Changed out of our wet clothes, we waited a hour before the fireworks show starts at 9pm.

Not bad.. Ada and I had to cover our eyes because it was either too bright or we were afraid that the fireworks might hurt our eyes.. It's quite near to the audience..

Still feel that Disneyland fireworks is the best!!

That's all folks!

Preparing for a Pap Smear

• schedule your appointment 2 weeks After the start of your period

• avoid sex 48 hrs before the test

• do not use spermicides, vaginal creams, lubricant jellies, vaginal medications or tampons 48 hrs before the test

• wear a 2-piece outfit as you will need to undress from the waist down.

This was extract from a brouchure sent to me by the Health Promotion Board. Seriously, I didn't know about the "avoid sex" part. Shall keep that in mind for my next pap smear. :p

personally, I would like to add another point - remember to do a Brazilian wax few days before the test :p Share this post:
