Roborovski hamsters on BBC

It shows Roborovski hamsters, the smallest and fastest kind of hamsters, in their natural environment.
Fascinating to think, appearance wise Robo's haven't changed a bit since they were discovered and bred in captivity over 100 years ago.

Kimmie bought a Hammie
Sorry for the lack of post this month.
For the past 2 weeks, my life was kinda turned upside down. To cheer myself up and to make myself wanting to come back to Singapore, I decided to get myself a hamster, a rather expensive and pretty hamster. :)

The result is a perfect, endlessly tubing six-foot wave that has similar power and challenge to many of the waves breaking along the reefs of Indonesia. The FlowBarrel has become an international sensation, but not just to surfers. Riders on the FlowBarrel ride flowboards and flowboarding is an alchemy of many different board sports: surfing without a fin plus snowboarding without the snow plus skateboarding without the wheels plus skimboarding without the sand. Flowboarding is a combined challenge that has been evolved by Kelly Slater, Tony Hawk, Terje Haakonsen and the world’s best surfers, skaters, snowboarders and skim boarders.

DAMN SCARY LAH!!
I had always wanted to give it a shot but knowing my limited skills and experiences on the FlowRider (the easier sheet wave), I didn't have the guts to do so.
But today, I did!
SUPER SIOK!!
Though it is really fun surfing on a wider area, the wipe time scares me! You will be immerse in the water for as long as 5 seconds! The motion of wipe out can be very dangerous too - sprained back, sprained neck, board hit your face, head, etc..
Not to mentioned, I swallowed lots of water during wipe out. My top was almost exposed, luckily I wore a bikini under my wet suit.. Got lots of bruises from my knees and hip. :P
But then again, it is worth experiencing. Will do it another time soon :)
By the way, I joined as their member too. All you need it to pay $10 as the member fee and you get 10% discount on food, drinks and rides. Also FREE buggy service to and fro.
Then I realized they have 10% discount for cabin crew too! Everyday! And 1 for 1 on certain days! Alamak..
