HAPPY HALLOWEEN !!
Knowing that I am in Singapore to celebrate Halloween makes me feel really fortunate. Because I love celebrating Halloween. Halloween in Singapore can be VERY happening. Of course, you will have to be at the right place, with a group of happening friends.
Top 2 places to be seen dressing up (or even people watch) will be Zouk and Clarke Quay.
If you want to let your little ones dress up and be seen too, Clarke Quay is the place to be.
Of course Zouk is the place to be if you want to have some adult fun. People really do dress up there. Quality stuff.
Initially, my girlfriends and I had planned to dress up as living dead dolls for the Zouk Doll House event. Due to some last minute changes, we had decided to celebrate Halloween at the Universal Studio Singapore (USS).
It will be the 2nd year that USS is doing the Halloween Horror Nights.
And I had heard lots of rave about it. So exciting!!!

To prepare ourselves for the fright, we met earlier to have steamboat dinner at Jpot, Vivo City.
Knowing that the tickets will be selling like hot cakes, we had bought them 6 weeks in advance. Also because of the early-bird discount with Maybank credit card. Heehee...
Many (who had went for the 1st few nights there) had advised me to get the express ticket, which is additional $40 on top of the $55 price we paid.
Thanks goodness, we listened to the wise advise.
THE QUEUE IS DAMN BLARDY LONG OK!
Halloween Horror Nights is only from 8pm to 1am. I really can't imagine being in the queue for 2 hrs, just for one attraction.
Not only my legs will be achy, my mood will also be dampen too.
Lucky 7. Guess who is the scary cat in the group? Almost all of us!! Hahaha.. Brave souls awards go to Serene and Wendy. They protected us from those scare actors. Lolx!
House of Dolls - Hollywood Boulevard. Upon entering the House of Dolls at Hollywood Boulevard, lots of scare actors just silently "float" pass you.
Some even "dance" pass you. CREEPY~!
He's rather handsome and calm to be frighten of.
This doll is my favorite of all. Do you agree with me that her face makeup is one of the best there? Plus, the zipper look is so "in" this halloween.
Who is scarier? The guy on the left or the guy in the white mask?
Ok. This rocking doll is a machine. But look damn real ok! Love the spooky light effects on the camera. When you are there, u can't see the effect with your naked eyes. Good job USS!
Seeking for help in the underworld. And no one there to help you. Poor soul.
I had visited USS many times. However, this is my first time taking the Transformers ride. Awesomeness! It was better than I had expected it to be. As good as the Mummy Return ride.
We visited 3 haunted housed back to back.
1. Dungeon of Damnation
2. Death Alley
3. The Insanitarium
My personal favorite is the Dungeon on Damnation, really scared the shit out of me. Screamed the most in there. Death Alley is rather interesting because of the Chinese theme. We even spotted two 70-years-old grandmothers as scare actors. Didn't enjoy The Instaitarium that much because there's no air-con, so the place is quite smelly. My focus was to hold my breath. Lolx. Oh ya, Doctor Dementia is super pretty ok!

1am. Super exhausted from being scared throughout the night. We had lots of fun together. Thank you Halloween Horror Nights.
Wondering why my hubby wasn't there? He bought the tickets but because of super last minute change of roster, he couldn't make it. I know he was very disappointed as I had soooooo much fun there. It's ok baby, next year we shall go together ok? I really want to go again next year :)
