Awww.. So cute!

Hammie is awfully cute to the max!~!

First time seeing sleep like this.

Is this normal for a hamster?? Haha..

Another sleeping position of Hammie.

He's very trendy - planking is the "in" thing now~!

Planking - as quote from Wikipedia

Planking or the lying down game is an activity consisting of lying face down in an unusual or incongruous location. The hands must touch the sides of the body and having a photograph of the participant taken and posted on the internet is an integral part of the game. Players compete to find the most unusual and original location in which to play. The term planking is described as the practice of lying down flat with arms to the side, to mimic a wooden plank.

Many participants of planking since 2011 have photographed the activity on unusual locations such as atop poles, roofs and vehicles, while some "plankers" engage in the activity by planking only their upper body and feet while leaving the back suspended.

Little Bites Muffins

For Australia stations, other than Melbourne, I usually hibernate in the hotel room because the stay is too short. Just enough for me to sleep for 16 hrs and check out for the flight back to Singapore.

But I ain't complaining because I just love sleeping. :) :)

However this time to Sydney, FSS Celine tempted me to company her out straight after checking in. I am glad I did because she introduced me to Little Bites Muffins.

The choc fudge brownies are uber nice~! And it is PERFECT for little hungers too~

Try them when you are in Australia ;)

London with BFF ❤

So happy to be in London. This time in London is really special, as I have my BFF Glady with me.

Changed to do this flight with her. :) An infamous Top 10 on flight, and I was the most senior junior crew on flight. Very scary ok? We have to make sure that everything we do is tip top and be on our toes at all times. But glad that I was safe from any zapping SIN-LHR and LHR-SIN. Phew~!

Anyway, I had a blast with Glady in London. So much to do, so little time.

Glady had wanted to watch Lion King during this trip. But tickets were all sold out for the 2 weekdays we were there. Too bad.. Next time then. :)

Dinner at Mermaid's Tail.

Location: 7 Leicester Square
Yummy!!

To commute around London, we took tubes.

Spotted: A man in his 50s on a red trunk, 150m away from us. I kinda like this shot.

Glady like this out-of-focus shot of us.

Glady has been to London for X times. But she had not seen the London Eye and Big Ben.

She has been bugging me to do so.. Haaa...

Here we are.

Deja Vu.

Was here with my batchgirls on two occasions. First time was with Sheryl and Twinkle, second was with Carrie. :)

Glady & Kimmie with London Eye at the background.

Big Ben - not open for overseas tourists. Boohoo~

Cold & windy.. is this Summer?

Oxford Street.

Special occasion?

Ripley's Believe It or Not! London

Attraction at Piccadilly Circles.

Open daily: 10am-12midnight

Ticket price: £25.95

And if you book the tickets online, you will get a 20% discount

You will be done in 2 hours. So you should arrange your time to come here after all the retail shops are closed. Afterall, shopping time in London is really precious~!

Oh ya, the Mirror Maze.. It's a crap and a waste of time. :P

The "American Icon" Mini-Cooper features over one million Swarvoski crystals!

I miss New York..

And New York's Shake Shack Burger~ Drools...

I love brown~

Did ya noticed my brown shoes?

I bought it from Japan recently for only 1,500 yen at Shibuya 109. Love it to bits!

Robert Wadlow is the tallest man ever known to exist. He grew to be over 8'11" tall.

The Beatles

The Lads from Liverpool have never looked better than when formed from chewing gum by sculptor Enrique Ramos.

Beware! The following photos might make you nausea.

Real human Shrunken Head!!

This piece is considered the finest shrunken head specimen in the world!

Jivaro
Shrunken Head

Of all the tribes in the world, only the Jivaro of the Andes practice "tsantsa", the ancient art of shrinking human heads. Their extreme rarity makes these relics the crown jewels of the Ripley collection. This particular piece, adorned with earrings made from beetle wings, is considered the finest shrunken head specimen in the world!

Shrunken Head with Toucan Feathers

The heads of enemies are prized as war trophies. Shrinking one was believed to enslave the enemy's spirit. This head is adorned with Toucan feather earrings and a lip ornament.

Glady felt sick in the stomach after seeing the Shrunken Head that she had no appetite to eat afterwards. :P

Portrait of JFK.

If you look close enough, it is rather creepy..

Look Ma. No Legs!!

I like this..

So colorful~

Tubes of gum balls.. Pretty~!!

Pret A Manger

now knows as ★PRET★

One of my favourite sandwich shop..

Everytime I am in New York, I will try to buy the salad or sushi there. Uber nice can~!!

Didn't know that ★PRET★ was originated from London. Interesting.

However, the sushi in London not so nice.. >_<

p/s Pret A Manger is a french word.. So it has an unique way of pronouncing it.

Glady had been raving to me about the hot from the oven butter scones. So off we went for breakfast at Muffin Man on our checkout day. :)

Butter scones.

VERY NICE!!

Spotted: Cute toddle in polka dot top.

Toddler refused to be seated in the pram. Granny had a tough time pacifying her.

Kimmie took out her camera and asked the toddler to look at the camera. Immediately, the toddler's anger quelled, and she smiled.

Smiling toddler, happy granny. A great shot for Kimmie.

Win-win situation.

There is an episode in 超省时生活 (Japanese show) on how to quell children's anger with camera phone. It works!

Kimmie's iPhone wallpaper at the moment.

Looking at this photo makes me smile. :)

Ichiran in Shinjuku

I have not been to an Ichiran Ramen joint for a long long time. The last time I went was 4 years ago at Fukuoka!

Thanks to LSS Angel, we managed to devour the delicious ramen in Shinjuku! Uber yummy~! Much better than the super hyped Ipuddo Ramen at Mandarin Gallery.

Ichiran is a Ramen chain restaurant from Fukuoka, in Kyushu island, created in 1993. The Japanese characters 一蘭 mean in direct translation 一 for one and 蘭 for the name of a plant.

Exact location in Shinjuku: 〒160-0022 新宿区新宿3-34-11-B1F

Near a MacDonald and Central Hotel Tokyo.

Here is a link from Michael Paquier on Ichiran. Very detailed. Check it out too: http://michael.otacoo.com/tag/shinjuku/

Here are some of the pictures taken. Enjoy drooling. Wahaha..

Ramen vending machine.

Don't forget to order the egg. Really tasty!

With the coupons that you had purchased from the vending machine, you are ready to be seated.

And Japanese are really smart people.. They created a self-seating system!

Hee.. the 6 of us occupied a lane~

A Japanese copy will be preset on the table. However, you may request for a English copy.

Instruction, Egg, salt sachet, wet wipe, saucer for the salt. So thoughtful.

Makan time!!

After Ichiran, we headed down to Shibuya 109. Summer sale 1st-7th July! Woohoo~~!!

Bought a pair of uber pretty brown covered heels. Only 1,500 yen. So cheap! Normally a pair of shoes there will set you back at 8,000 yen. I was lucky! :)

Tea break.

Strawberry Shortcake.

Continued with more shopping.

Once again, bought lots of things from 100 yen shop.

Tempura at the crew joint near the hotel.

Was quite disappointed as the standard dropped. Sob.. Was looking forward to eat this can~

Anyway.. time was well spent in Tokyo. Love!
