Kyocera Ceramic Knife

Kyocera Ceramic Knife

Finally got my hands on this S$128 Kyocera Ceramic Knife set. I simply love my family & friends reaction when they uses this knife. "Is this a toy?" Haha..

I love it that it is light & sharp. However, I was told that I should never use the knife for carving, prying, boning, cutting frozen foods, and slicing cheese. Otherwise, it will break. Gosh!

San Francisco

Haven't been here for a really long time! I missed shopping in San Francisco. Shopping here is uber convenient compared to New York City and Los Angeles.

Victoria Secret, Tiffany & Co, Apple, Amercian Eagles, Abercombie & Fitch, Chronicle (I love to buy their labels & stickers book which I paste on gift parcels. You can buy them from Woodwould in Singapore too!), GNC, Macys and many many more.. are all within minutes of our hotel.

Also, the staff here are friendlier and more helpful too! Generally, the people here are really nice. But.. never let your guard down as there are more homeless people along the street and alleys, some can be quite scary. So always walk with the crowd and don't be alone.

In the morning, Singapore time 1am, FSS Winne (a very nice senior crew) bought me to Sears, located next to the Union Square, for breakfast. So hungry that I gobble them up so quickly that I had forgotten to take some photos. No room service after midnight here, so I waited till morning for my meal.

Poor Kimmie have to be hungry.

Anyway, here are some of the pictures :)

You can take the cable car to the Fisherman Wharf.

I love the vintage look of this.

I ❤ Bath & Body Works

The things I always buy from here are the Lavender Aromatherapy Concentrated Room Spray to freshen up my room, Lavender Pillow Mist to help me sleep better during my crew rest and the Lavender Fragrance Oil to put into the Scentbug.

As you can see.. I love the scent of Lavender. :)

It calms and relax me.

I have tried other Lavender products there, but these 3 are my favourite.

Urban Outfitters is another favourite shop of mine.

They carry some really cool and quirky books. Not to forget, the "in" thing now, Toy Cameras. Tempted to get one myself. Me being not that artsy fartsy type, I didn't.

Revolving 16-Jar Spice Rack

Since I preparing to move into our new place in a few months time, I went to Crate & Barrel to take a look. How I wish I can buy all the kitchen stuffs!!

Though I don't know how to cook, the Revolving 16-Jar Spice Rack looks cool on my kitchen top yeah? :)

I like their stuffs from furniture, bath, dining, decorating and accessories. Awww...

Are there other such shops in States worth visiting too?

Me trying to be a little artsy fartsy :P

Union Square

The San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge drawn on the enormous heart.

Heading back to Seoul in a few hours. Can't wait!! Going to Ewha Woman University to get some cute Korean stationery.

Renovation lobangs?

I have been browsing many local home decor magazines for the past 2 weeks. Managed to cut out some designs which I fancy. :)

Simplicity is beauty.

It will be the theme for our home.

We won't be hiring an interior designer so as to keep our renovation cost as low as possible. And we will be doing all the "shopping of materials, furnitures, fixtures" all by ourselves. So fun and exciting!

A list of things we need to get:

Fixture
• inverter air condition (Mitusbishi/Panasonic/Daikin)
• lighting - bedroom
• lighting - living room
• lighting - dining hall
• lighting - kitchen
• lighting - utility room
• toilet bowl (Toto)
• rain shower head
• wallpaper
• homogenous tiles (bathroom)
• flooring
• large mirror (living room)
• shoes cabinet
• warobe

Furniture
• sofa
• television
• dining room carpet
• living room carpet
• bedroom carpet
• PS3
• fridge
• washing machine
• dryer
• dressing table
• dining table
• bedframe

The only lobang I have from the above is the wallpaper. If you guys know any good lobang, must share with me ok ok? ;)

That's all I can think at the moment, will add on to the list as I think that there's more to add.

Washing cloth from Europe

One thing that I never fail to buy from Frankfurt is this ...

Dr. Beckmann’s Colour & Dirt Collector

I get my supply from DM beside Hong Kong Bistro. Been using it for years and I really can't live without it!

If my supply runs low, and I wasn't rostered for a Frankfurt flight, I will get my kind and helpful friends to get it for me. :)

How good is this thing?

Wash mixed colours with confidence
It’s easy to separate your wash loads, but what can you do with that tricky wash with stripes and mixed colours?
Stray molecules of colour and dirt end up sticking to your clothes which means your colours become dull, your whites become grey and you’re always at risk of a colour run.

Dr. Beckmann Colour & Dirt Collector Sheets are made from a special ultra absorbent material that collects and locks in stray colour & dirt during the wash cycle so it doesn’t end up on your clothes.
Pop one in every wash load and you’ll see the evidence clearly on the sheet, while your clothes stay white, bright and vibrant so you can wash with confidence.

And only today, after searching Dr Beckmann on Google, I found out that they do have this Dry Clean Only sheet! Since I have a dryer at home, I will get my hands on it on my next trip!!

Oh ya.. and the Color Run Remover too~! ❤
